Coupe — 28% ABVIngredients
- 2 ozBlanco tequila, 100% agave, e.g. Espolòn or Cimarrón

- ¼ ozAgave syrup, 1:1, optional, balances a sharp lime

Method

Combine tequila, lime, orange liqueur, and agave (if using) in a shaker filled with cubed ice.

Double-strain into the prepared glass. No additional ice in the glass — this is a coupe-style Margarita.
