Ingredients

  • 2 ozBlended scotch
  • ¾ ozLemon juice, fresh
  • ¾ ozHoney-ginger syrup
  • ¼ ozIslay scotch (Laphroaig 10), as a float
  • Candied ginger, to garnish

Method

  1. Combine blended scotch, lemon, and honey-ginger syrup in a shaker over ice.

  2. Shake hard for 12 seconds.

  3. Strain over fresh ice in a highball.

  4. Float the Islay scotch over the back of a bar spoon.

  5. Garnish with candied ginger.
