- 1 ozLondon dry gin
- ½ ozLemon juice, fresh
- ½ ozSimple syrup, 1:1
- 3 ozChampagne or dry sparkling wine, cold, freshly opened
- —Lemon twist, to garnish
Method
Chill a flute in the freezer.
Combine gin, lemon juice, and simple syrup in a shaker over cubed ice.
Shake briskly for 8 to 10 seconds.
Double-strain into the chilled flute.
Top with cold Champagne, poured slowly down the side to keep the bubbles.
Garnish with a long, thin lemon twist.
