Cosmopolitan

Ingredients

• 1½ ozCitrus vodka, Absolut Citron is the original
• 1 ozCranberry juice, unsweetened, real-fruit
• ½ ozCointreau or other dry orange liqueur
• ½ ozLime juice, fresh
• —Orange peel, flamed

Method

1. Chill a martini glass in the freezer.

2. Combine vodka, cranberry, orange liqueur, and lime in a shaker over cubed ice.

3. Shake hard for 10 to 12 seconds.

4. Double-strain into the chilled glass.

5. Hold a wide orange peel skin-side toward the surface, light a match in front of it, and squeeze the oils through the flame onto the drink. Drop the peel in.
