Aperol Spritz

Rocks — 11% ABVIngredients
- 3 ozProsecco, dry, cold, freshly opened
- 2 ozAperol
- 1 ozClub soda, or sparkling water
- —Orange slice, to garnish
- —Large green olive, to garnish, Castelvetrano if you have one
Method
Fill a large wine glass or rocks glass to the top with ice. Generosity here is the difference between a spritz and a watery cocktail.
Pour Prosecco first to keep it lively.
Add Aperol — watch the colors layer for a moment before they merge.
Top with a splash of club soda.
Stir gently once with a bar spoon.
Garnish with an orange slice and an olive on a pick. Drink before the bubbles fade.
